Why This Matters to Us
At Tense, our watches are crafted from natural materials. Because our work depends on the forests and ecosystems around us, protecting the environment is not just an idea — it is part of our responsibility as a company.
OUR ECOLOGICAL INITIATIVES
Tense Watches has been carbon neutral since 2019. Through our partnership with the Canadian non-profit Taking Root, we have helped sequester over 258 tonnes of carbon emissions.
Taking Root supports tropical reforestation by working directly with farmers in Nicaragua. Farmers receive payments to plant and grow trees while gaining access to sustainable markets for timber and shade-grown coffee.
This approach helps restore forests, create jobs, and provide income for communities while encouraging the planting of millions of trees.
Tense Watches is also a proud member of 1% for the Planet, supporting environmental organizations through our annual giving commitment.
