"@TenseWatches small Hampton watch, which is made of reclaimed and recycled African sandalwood, Italian leather, and has a Miyota Japanese movements and striking Mother of Pearl dial. Like every watch the company has created since 1971, it's built by hand in Tense's Vancouver, BC workshop 🕰 They shared this beauty with me to take along on this month's travels and I'm floored by the design and quality. North American-made watches are few and far between and it's rarer still to come across a timepiece that's well-built, elegant, affordable, AND fair to workers and our environment. The beautiful solid wood case is lightweight, tightly enclosed, and its back (and wooden gift box!) can both be engraved. Bonus: The lack of cold steel makes wearing it through airport security a breeze ✔️ If you're looking for an ethically-made Father's Day gift they have a few handsome men's styles, as well✌🏼"
